My skills include design, development, consultancy, training and speaking and I've worked with individuals, agencies, start-ups, universities and big organisations such as the BBC, The Economist and McGraw Hill.

My background is technical: I have a Mechanical Engineering degree, completed a PhD in Computer Aided Geometric Design and developed computer aided design software for 10 years.

This was followed by a spell as a freelance web developer before specialising in interactive websites and apps.

Day to day I code in JavaScript, HTML, SVG, CSS, D3, React, Vue and Python. I generally use Affinity Designer for design work.

I'm based in Brighton on the south coast of the UK.
